Punishments don’t work.  And we administer them simply because we are out of ideas.  We don’t know what else to do!  This is the class to fill that bucket with ideas instead of ineffective, random punishments.  “Where did we get the idea that in order to get children to behave better, we must first make them feel worse?”  We have that idea.  It was given to us.  And, it is ineffective.  Do punishments work at your house?  Or do they simply make your kids get more sneaky and lie to cover up their mistakes?  It doesn’t have to be like that.  In this course, we learn tools for preventing misbehavior as well as what to do once the misbehavior has occurred.  You will have loads more cooperation after viewing this one.  And, another fringe benefit, you will feel better about yourself.  No parent has ever admitted to me that they enjoy punishing their kids.  They do it because they are out of ideas.  You will lay your head on your pillow at night with peace.  You absolutely can get results without punishing your kids.  Consequences work.  And here is how.
